SUMMARY:Thoresby Park Beginner's Training 1/3
DESCRIPTION:Would you like to learn how to nordic walk? This 3-part course will teach you all you need to know to enjoy the International Nordic Walking (INWA) technique. \nSession 1 introduces you to the nordic walking poles and their features before moving on to learn the few basic steps of the INWA 10-step technique. We will cover posture\, pole position\, arm swing and forward propulsion. \nSession 2 will take place on Wednesday 11th October 9.30am. You do not need to book these sessions separately. The payment for Session 1 is for all three sessions. \nSession 3 takes place on Wednesday 18th October 9.30am and is free for those who have completed weeks 1 and 2\, and £6 for those who are coming along for a beginner’s walk. \nPoles are available to use free of charge. \nYou will need to complete a PAR-Q health questionnaire prior to taking part. I will send this to you a few days before the course – please check your junk email boxes. \n  \nLATE CANCELLATION POLICY: Sherwood Nordic Walking has a late cancellation policy whereby we require 24 hours’ notice for cancelling a walk.
