SUMMARY:Special Birthday Adventure - Chesterfield Canal
DESCRIPTION:It is Elaine’s birthday today! \nWe will meet at the Lock keeper Inn carpark off the A57 roundabout in Worksop (Sainsbury’s/McDonald’s roundabout). We will follow the Chesterfield canal through Shireoaks towards the old pit tip. \nDepending on how everyone feels we can either go around the base of the pit tip or take a gentle gradient route to the top. \nDistance: 4.5 miles – 6 miles (if the pit top is added) \nAscent: 273ft max (if we go to the top of the pit tip) \nLATE CANCELLATION POLICY: Sherwood Nordic Walking has a late cancellation policy whereby we require 24 hours’ notice for cancelling a walk booking. No refunds can be issued however it may be possible to use the credit one time on a future session. This will be dependent on the cancelling client making contact with Tracy.
