DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Chesterfield Canal at Worksop! \nWe will meet at the Lock keeper Inn carpark off the A57 roundabout in Worksop (Sainsbury’s/McDonald’s roundabout). We will follow the Chesterfield canal through Shireoaks\, all the way to Turners Wood. \nAfter crossing the railway we will follow the fields that take us back to the canal. If we are feeling up to it we can go up to the pit top for a glorious view before heading back to our starting point. \nThe Lock keeper Inn should be open on our return for refreshments. \nDistance: 5-6 miles \nStiles: 2 \n  \nLATE CANCELLATION POLICY: Sherwood Nordic Walking has a late cancellation policy whereby we require 24 hours’ notice for cancelling a walk.
