SUMMARY:Saturday Adventure with Elaine - Creswell Crags
DESCRIPTION:Saturday adventures await! \nWe will begin at The Dukeries (Notcutts) garden centre carpark. From the carpark we will begin by crossing over the main road. We will wind our way along a country lane and through open farmland until we reach the spectacular Creswell Crags. Another country lane leads us past some quarries before we head back towards Creswell Crags\, along the main road and back to the garden centre carpark. \nThere is some steep terrain and also a stile to climb over. \nLunch is available at the Harley Gallery and also at the garden centre café. \nDistance: 4.6 miles \n  \nLATE CANCELLATION POLICY: Sherwood Nordic Walking has a late cancellation policy whereby we require 24 hours’ notice for cancelling a walk. A refund minus 50p booking fee may be issued up until this time but will be dependent on the cancelling client making contact with Tracy.  \nThank you\, \nTracy Hall \n07891932782

DESCRIPTION:This month our Friday special takes us over to Welbeck. \nBeginning at the Dukeries garden centre carpark\, please meet us on the lawn area for our warm up. \nWe will venture over to Creswell Crags and Creswell\, before looping back. \nThere is some steep terrain and also a stile to climb over. There is also a field that sometimes has cows in it. We will proceed with caution! \n  \nFollowing the walk we will go along and see the Portland Collection – fabulous 17th century paintings\, a few by Van Dyck\, as well as family silverware from the Dukes of Portland. There is also an exhibition in the Harley Gallery\, currently entitled ‘Tunnel Vision’ and has interesting displays about the 5th Duke’s quirky ways\, including his fascinating network of tunnels. \nA late lunch will be available either in the Harley Café or the garden centre café\, or you can browse the fabulous award-winning farm shop and buy some goodies to take home. \n  \nDistance: 4.6 mile \nLATE CANCELLATION POLICY: Sherwood Nordic Walking has a late cancellation policy whereby we require 24 hours’ notice for cancelling a walk.
