DESCRIPTION:Would you like to learn how to nordic walk? This fast-track course will teach you all you need to know to enjoy the International Nordic Walking (INWA) technique. \nAn introduction to the nordic walking poles and their features before moving on to learn the few basic steps of the INWA 10-step technique. We will cover posture\, pole position\, arm swing and forward propulsion. \nPoles are available to use free of charge. \nYou will need to complete a PAR-Q health questionnaire prior to taking part. I will send this to you a few days before the course – please check your junk email boxes. \n  \nLATE CANCELLATION POLICY: Sherwood Nordic Walking has a late cancellation policy whereby we require 24 hours’ notice for cancelling a walk. Think of Parkrun\, 9am\, 3 miles (ish) with your poles! \nThis week’s Saturday adventure is at the beautiful Thoresby Park! \nThoresby Park is a beautiful estate with a magnificent Hall\, a river\, deer park\, wonderful woodland and a variety of wildlife to spot.  The terrain is mostly firm and even\, however through the woods the ground is a bit more bumpy. \nThis week our Walk Leader Elaine will be your guide. \n  \nDistance: 3-4 miles \n  \nLATE CANCELLATION POLICY: Sherwood Nordic Walking has a late cancellation policy whereby we require 24 hours’ notice for cancelling a walk.
