Think of Parkrun\, 9am\, 3 miles (ish) with your poles! \nThis brand new Saturday adventure is at the beautiful Thoresby Park! \nThoresby Park is a beautiful estate with a magnificent Hall\, a river\, deer park\, wonderful woodland and a variety of wildlife to spot.  The terrain is mostly firm and even\, however through the woods the ground is a bit more bumpy. \nThis week our Walk Leader Elaine will be your guide. \n  \nDistance: 3-4 miles \n  \nLATE CANCELLATION POLICY: Sherwood Nordic Walking has a late cancellation policy whereby we require 24 hours’ notice for cancelling a walk. DESCRIPTION:Would you like to learn how to nordic walk? This 2-part course will teach you all you need to know to enjoy the International Nordic Walking (INWA) technique. \nSession 1 introduces you to the nordic walking poles and their features before moving on to learn the few basic steps of the INWA 10-step technique. We will cover posture\, pole position\, arm swing and forward propulsion. \nSession 2 will take place on Tuesday 20th June 1pm. You do not need to book these sessions separately. The payment for Session 1 is for all three sessions. \nPoles are available to use free of charge. \nYou will need to complete a PAR-Q health questionnaire prior to taking part.
