DESCRIPTION:This 1-hour taster session has been designed to give you a feel for the benefits of using poles for nordic walking. If you like what you discover you can book onto a full course. The next one begins on Wednesday 17th January 9.30am. \nPoles are provided free of charge. You will need to complete a health questionnaire before taking part. This will be emailed to you\, so please check your junk email folder. \n  \nLATE CANCELLATION POLICY: Sherwood Nordic Walking has a late cancellation policy whereby we require 24 hours’ notice for cancelling a walk booking. No refunds can be issued however it may be possible to use the credit one time on a future session. DESCRIPTION:Would you like to learn how to nordic walk? This 3-part course will teach you all you need to know to enjoy the International Nordic Walking (INWA) technique. \nSession 1 introduces you to the nordic walking poles and their features before moving on to learn the few basic steps of the INWA 10-step technique. We will cover posture\, pole position\, arm swing and forward propulsion. \nSession 2 will take place on Wednesday 24th January at the later time of 12 noon. You do not need to book these sessions separately. The payment for Session 1 is for all three sessions. \nSession 3 takes place on Wednesday 31st January 9.30am and is free for those who have completed weeks 1 and 2. \nPoles are available to use free of charge. \nYou will need to complete a PAR-Q health questionnaire prior to taking part. We will move onto the hill technique and foot dynamics before progressing onto cover up to step 6 of 10. \nYou can only take part in Session 2 if you have completed the Beginner’s Nordic Walking Training Part 1\, or already have experience of nordic walking. \nPoles are available to use free of charge. \nSession 3 on 31st January incorporates further practise and recap on key areas of the technique. \n
