During this session we will appreciate our beautiful surroundings\, breathe in the pure air and immerse ourselves in nature. No need to pay. \n\nRefreshments at the cafe then through parkland and back to former railway lines to return to Teversal. \nParking is free\, and is off Carnarvon Road. DESCRIPTION:Keeping active is essential for people living with Parkinson’s. It can help you manage your symptoms and slow their progression. \nNordic Walking is an exercise that can help with this and provide other valuable benefits too. As an exercise it is both safe and sociable. \nThe focus is on movement rather than speed or distance adn the flat cricket field is the perfect venue. \nThe class size is currently a maximum of 6 people\, plus any partner or support friend can come along for free. \nClasses take place at Retford Cricket Club. \nCost £3. \nYou will need to complete a ParQ health questionnaire before you attend your first class. \n  \nThis class is partially funded by Parkinson’s UK. \nLATE CANCELLATION POLICY: Sherwood Nordic Walking has a late cancellation policy whereby we require 24 hours’ notice for cancelling a walk booking. No refunds can be issued however it may be possible to use the credit one time on a future session. DESCRIPTION:Sherwood Pines is the largest forest open to the public in the East Midlands with over 3\,300 acres to discover. It’s a centre for a wide variety of outdoor activities from a relaxed stroll to Go Ape Tree Top Adventure and much\, much more. \nJoin Sherwood Nordic Walking as we follow the Ranger’s Path around the woodlands.
