It’s a centre for a wide variety of outdoor activities from a relaxed stroll to Go Ape Tree Top Adventure and much\, much more. \nJoin Sherwood Nordic Walking as we guide you along the Ranger’s Path and other fabulous routes around the forest. The terrain is mostly firm with a slight gradient in places. \nA parking QR code on the day will give you £3 parking. DESCRIPTION:Would you like to learn how to nordic walk? This 3-part course will teach you all you need to know to enjoy the International Nordic Walking (INWA) technique. \nSession 1 introduces you to the nordic walking poles and their features before moving on to learn the few basic steps of the INWA 10-step technique. We will cover posture\, pole position\, arm swing and forward propulsion. \nSession 2 will take place on Wednesday 5th March\, 9.30am. You do not need to book these sessions separately. The payment for Session 1 is for all three sessions. \nSession 3 takes place on Wednesday 12th March\, 9.30am  and is also bookable for anyone who has trained with us before and would like some technique practise. \nPoles are available to use free of charge. \nYou will need to complete a PAR-Q health questionnaire prior to taking part. DESCRIPTION:Beginning at The Dukeries (Notcutts) garden centre carpark. From the carpark we will begin by crossing over the main road. We will wind our way along a country lane and through open farmland until we reach the spectacular Creswell Crags. Another country lane leads us past some quarries before we head back towards Creswell Crags\, along the main road and back to the garden centre carpark. \nThere is some steep terrain and also a high stile to climb over. \nLunch is available at the Harley Gallery and also at the garden centre café. \nDistance: 4.6 miles \nPace: Moderate \nSpaces are limited on the Saturday nordic walks due to Walk Leader insurance and group management. With this in mind please note the cancellation policy and please give as much notice as you can if you need to cancel so that your slot can be opened up to someone else. DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Wednesday Walk Leader Adventures with Tricia and Liz. \n\n\nYour Walk Leaders will warm you all up before taking you on a steady 3.5 – 4.5 mile Adventure beginning in the village of Everton. \n\n\nThis delightful route takes us along open countryside\, along the river Idle and through woodland. Beginning and ending at The Bean Scene there is ample parking! We can stop for a hot drink and snacks/lunch at the end. \n\n\nSometimes the start point may be The Yurt or near the Church in Everton\, so we will update you if this is the case. \n\n\n3.5 – 4.5 miles \nPace: Slow-Steady \n\n\n249ft ascent (max) \n\nLATE CANCELLATION POLICY: Sherwood Nordic Walking has a late cancellation policy whereby we require 24 hours’ notice for cancelling a walk booking. No refunds can be issued however it may be possible to use the credit one time on a future session. This will be dependent on the cancelling client making contact with Tracy\, Liz or Tricia before cancelling. DESCRIPTION:As the official group of Clumber Park we know the 3\,800 acres very well. So come along for this nordic adventure walk and enjoy a varied nordic walk of 5-6 miles. No two weeks are the same! \nThe sessions at Clumber Park are moderate to fast paced\, and the group is well managed to suit. These sessions are not suitable for slower paced members. \nWe will meet at the main visitor’s carpark\, near the bicycle hire hub.
