DESCRIPTION:We begin Session 3 with a recap of steps 1-6 covered over the past 2 weeks before progressing onto steps 6-10 where we add speed and intensity into the technique. Using specific drills to emphasise the correct movements and posture\, we will ensure we are getting a workout from our walk. This 3-part course will teach you all you need to know to enjoy the International Nordic Walking (INWA) technique. \nSession 1 introduces you to the nordic walking poles and their features before moving on to learn the few basic steps of the INWA 10-step technique. We will cover posture\, pole position\, arm swing and forward propulsion. \nSession 2 will take place on Tuesday 21st March 1pm and Session 3 on Tuesday 28th March 1pm. You do not need to book these sessions separately. The payment for Session 1 is for all three sessions. \nPoles are available to use free of charge. \nYou will need to complete a PAR-Q health questionnaire prior to taking part.
