DESCRIPTION:Let’s enjoy a fabulous nordic walk in the RSPB’s Sherwood Forest. During this session we will appreciate our beautiful surroundings\, breathe in the pure air and immerse ourselves in nature. We will still be nordic walking at a fair pace but your Instructor will endeavour to keep the pace manageable whilst still getting a work out. \n\n\nMeeting at the RSPB visitor centre we will explore the ancient and wonderful Sherwood Forest\, home to 1\,000 ancient oak trees\, including the Major Oak. \n\n\nTo join this session you will have already completed nordic walking training. DESCRIPTION:Beginning at Laughton-en-le-Morthen we will follow rolling hills\, peaceful woodland and finally arrive at the mysterious ruins of Roche Abbey. \nThere is a steep section into and out of the woods. \nThere is a delightful cafe nearby called Leger Lakes and it is on our way back to the carpark. SUMMARY:National Trust Clumber Park
DESCRIPTION:As the official group of Clumber Park we know the 3\,800 acres very well. So come along for this nordic adventure walk and enjoy a varied nordic walk of 5-6 miles. No two weeks are the same! \nThe sessions at Clumber Park are moderate to fast paced\, and the group is well managed to suit. These sessions are not suitable for slower paced members. \nWe will meet at the main visitor’s carpark\, near the bicycle hire hub. National Trust members enter for free\, non-members entry fees are £5 per adult. \nDistance: 5-6 miles \n  \nLATE CANCELLATION POLICY: Sherwood Nordic Walking has a late cancellation policy whereby we require 24 hours’ notice for cancelling a walk booking. No refunds can be issued however it may be possible to use the credit one time on a future session. DESCRIPTION:Welcome to this relaxed-paced nordic adventure with Tricia and Liz. \n\n\nTricia will warm you all up before taking you on a steady 3.5 – 4.5 mile nordic walk around from Langold Country Park\, towards Firbeck or Letwell and into Dyscar Woods or maybe over to Hodsock.
