DESCRIPTION:Following on from the Beginner’s Training Session Part 1 we begin with a recap of steps 1-5. We will move onto the hill technique and foot dynamics before progressing onto steps 6-10 where we add speed and intensity into the technique. Using specific drills to emphasise the correct movements and posture\, we will ensure we are getting a workout from our walk. We end the session with a nordic walk\, practising the technique that we have built over the two sessions. \nYou can only book Part 2 if you have booked or attended the Beginner’s Nordic Walking Training Session Part 1\, or already have experience of nordic walking. \nAt the end of this session you will be ready to book onto our regular Adventure walk at Clumber Park\, one of our other Adventure walks elsewhere or a Walk Leader Adventure walk depending on which one would suit you best. \nPoles are available to use free of charge. There is ample parking but no toilet facilities as the cafe is closed on a Monday. \nWe will venture into the woods and meander along the lovely wide paths\, listening out for the wildlife and seeing what wildlife we can spot. We will follow the Chesterfield canal through Shireoaks\, all the way to Turners Wood. \nAfter crossing the railway we will follow the fields that take us back to the canal. DESCRIPTION:Following on from the Beginner’s Training Session Part 1 we begin with a recap of steps 1-5. We will move onto the hill technique and foot dynamics before progressing onto steps 6-10 where we add speed and intensity into the technique. Using specific drills to emphasise the correct movements and posture\, we will ensure we are getting a workout from our walk. We end the session with a nordic walk\, practising the technique that we have built over the two sessions. \nYou can only book Part 2 if you have booked or attended the Beginner’s Nordic Walking Training Session Part 1\, or already have experience of nordic walking. \nAt the end of this session you will be ready to book onto our regular Adventure or Walk Leader Adventure walks depending on which one would suit you best. \nPoles are available to use free of charge. We will pass alongside farmland and pine tree woods before heading towards the pretty hamlet of Scofton. As we venture back towards Kilton we pass the Hundred Acre woods on wide paths and bridleways. \nPlease bring a drink and a snack along on this walk.
