DESCRIPTION:Following on from the Beginner’s Training Session Part 1 we begin with a recap of steps 1-5. We will move onto the hill technique and foot dynamics before progressing onto steps 6-10 where we add speed and intensity into the technique. Using specific drills to emphasise the correct movements and posture\, we will ensure we are getting a workout from our walk. We end the session with a nordic walk\, practising the technique that we have built over the two sessions. \nYou can only book Part 2 if you have booked or attended the Beginner’s Nordic Walking Training Session Part 1\, or already have experience of nordic walking. \nAt the end of this session you will be ready to book onto our regular Adventure walk at Clumber Park\, one of our other Adventure walks elsewhere or a Walk Leader Adventure walk depending on which one would suit you best. \nIt is preferable that you purchase your own poles in advance\, but if not\, poles are available to use free of charge. DESCRIPTION:This walk starts at the public car park near Kilton Golf course in Worksop. We will venture along long paths and bridleways towards the Osberton estate. We will catch a glimpse of Osberton Hall before heading past Hundred Acre Woods and back to our starting point. \nDistance: 6.2 miles \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \nCOVID-19 aware \nPlease do not attend if you\, anyone in your household or anyone you have been in close contact with have developed symptoms that could be COVID. \nLATE CANCELLATION POLICY: Sherwood Nordic Walking has a late cancellation policy whereby we require 24 hours’ notice for cancelling a walk.
