Would you like to learn how to nordic walk? This session introduces you to the nordic walking poles and their features before moving on to learn Steps 1-6 of the INWA 10-step method. We will cover posture, pole position and forward propulsion.
In the second part of the session we will move onto hills and feet dynamics.
At the end of this session you will be ready to book onto our regular Adventure, Gentle Adventure or Wellbeing Adventure walks depending on which one would suit you best.
If you want to practise what you have learnt before joining a regular walk, then book onto one of our Technique Workshops.
Poles are provided free of charge.
You will need to complete a PAR-Q health questionnaire prior to taking part. This will be emailed to you once you have booked your place.

Please let me know if you, anyone in your household or anyone you have been in close contact with have developed symptoms that could be COVID-19 before you come on the walk so that I may cancel your place and issue your refund.
Also please let me know if you test positive at any time after the walk so that I may provide participant details for Test and Trace purposes.
LATE CANCELLATION POLICY: Sherwood Nordic Walking has a late cancellation policy whereby we require 12 hours’ notice for cancelling a walk. A full refund will be issued up until this time but will be dependent on the cancelling client making contact with Tracy before cancelling.
