Beginner’s Nordic Walking Training Session (Level 1)
Would you like to learn how to nordic walk? This session introduces you to the nordic walking poles and their features before moving on to learn Level 1 (steps 1-5) – the basic nordic walking technique. We will cover posture, pole position and forward propulsion.
In the second part of the session we will move onto hills and feet dynamics.
At the end of this session you will be ready to book onto our regular Adventure or Wellbeing Adventure walks depending on which one would suit you best.
If you want to learn the full technique, then book onto our Intermediate Training Session where we will be completing Level 2 and using the poles to build speed and intensity into our nordic walking.
Poles are provided free of charge.
You will need to complete a PAR-Q health questionnaire prior to taking part.
