Following on from the Beginner’s Training Session Part 1 we begin with a recap of steps 1-5. We will move onto the hill technique and foot dynamics before progressing onto steps 6-10 where we add speed and intensity into the technique. Using specific drills to emphasise the correct movements and posture, we will ensure we are getting a workout from our walk. We end the session with a nordic walk, practising the technique that we have built over the two sessions.
You can only book Part 2 if you have booked or attended the Beginner’s Nordic Walking Training Session Part 1, or already have experience of nordic walking.
At the end of this session you will be ready to book onto our regular Adventure walk at Clumber Park, one of our other Adventure walks elsewhere or a Walk Leader Adventure walk depending on which one would suit you best.
Poles are available to use free of charge. I also have a number of sets for sale – please let me know if you would like me to reserve a pair for you to purchase.
LATE CANCELLATION POLICY: Sherwood Nordic Walking has a late cancellation policy whereby we require 24 hours’ notice for cancelling a walk. A credit voucher or a refund minus 50p may be issued up until this time but will be dependent on the cancelling client making contact with Tracy before cancelling.
