Learn to Nordic Walk at Clumber Park!
Would you like to learn how to nordic walk? This session introduces you to the nordic walking poles and their features before moving on to learn steps 1-5 of the INWA 10-step technique. We will cover posture, pole position, arm swing and forward propulsion.
Poles are provided free of charge, but it is preferable that you have purchase your own poles in advance of the class. I have a few pairs for sale – contact me if you’d like to reserve a pair.
You will need to complete a PAR-Q health questionnaire prior to taking part. I will send this to you a few days before the course.
Part 2 will take place on Thursday 23rd September at 9am and needs to be booked separately.
Please meet me in the main visitor’s carpark.
Please note that Trumans Gate (Worksop entrance) is currently closed – entry is only via Lime tree Avenue off A614 (Apley Head) or off B6034 (Carburton).
LATE CANCELLATION POLICY: Sherwood Nordic Walking has a late cancellation policy whereby we require 24 hours’ notice for cancelling a walk. A credit voucher mayBegin be issued up until this time but will be dependent on the cancelling client making contact with Tracy before cancelling.
Thank you,
Tracy Hall
