Friday Adventure along the Chesterfield Canal, Worksop

Welcome to the Chesterfield Canal at Worksop!

We will meet at the Lock keeper Inn carpark off the A57 roundabout in Worksop (Sainsbury’s/McDonald’s roundabout). We will follow the Chesterfield canal through Shireoaks, all the way to Turners Wood.

After crossing the railway we will follow the fields that take us back to the canal. If we are feeling up to it we can go up to the pit top for a glorious view before heading back to our starting point.

Bring your own refreshments for after the adventure or we can head over to one of the supermarket cafés.

LATE CANCELLATION POLICY: Sherwood Nordic Walking has a late cancellation policy whereby we require 24 hours’ notice for cancelling a walk. A credit voucher or a refund imbues 50p booking fee may be issued up until this time but will be dependent on the cancelling client making contact with Tracy.
