Friday Adventure to Roche Abbey

A magical and beautiful walk in all seasons, our Friday Adventure begins in Laughton-en-le-Morthen and takes us to the ruins of Roche Abbey, a 12th century monastery.

This Adventure requires a bit more stamina than our usual Adventures, but the reward is a beautiful route taking in rolling hills, ancient woodland and the magical ruins of Roche Abbey.

Leger Lakes cafe is open on Fridays so we can stop here before heading back to our cars. If you can’t stay, it is not a problem.

Ascent: 512 feet

LATE CANCELLATION POLICY: Sherwood Nordic Walking has a late cancellation policy whereby we require 24 hours’ notice for cancelling a walk. A credit voucher may be issued up until this time but will be dependent on the cancelling client making contact with Tracy before cancelling.
