Friday Adventure at Laughton-en-le-morthen and Roche Abbey

Beginning at Laughton-en-le-Morthen we will follow rolling hills, peaceful woodland and finally arrive at the mysterious ruins of Roche Abbey. I am taking out the overgrown early section of this walk so it will be a bit shorter than before. There is a steep downhill section on the way to the Abbey and therefore the same steep part going uphill on the way back.

There is a delightful cafe nearby called Leger Lakes and it is on our way back to the carpark, but at the moment I don’t think it is a good idea for us to gather there after the walk. You can always pop in for a take out, if they are available.

COVID-19 aware

Please let me know if you or anyone in your household develops symptoms that could be COVID-19 within 14 days of coming on the walk so that I may cancel your place and issue your refund. 

Also please let me know if you test positive at any time after the walk so that I may provide participant details for Track and Trace purposes.

LATE CANCELLATION POLICY: Sherwood Nordic Walking has a late cancellation policy whereby a cancellation fee will be retained for any walks cancelled within 12 hours of the start of the walk (approximately 60p). A full refund will be issued up until this time but will be dependent on the cancelling client making contact with Tracy before cancelling.
