Laughton to Roche Abbey

Beginning at Laughton-en-le-Morthen we will follow rolling hills, peaceful woodland and finally arrive at the mysterious ruins of Roche Abbey.

There is a steep section into and out of the woods.

There is a delightful cafe nearby called Leger Lakes and it is on our way back to the carpark. We can reserve a table here if anyone wants to call in for refreshments at the end of our walk.

Pace: Moderate

Ascent: 512 ft

Spaces are limited on the Saturday nordic walks due to Walk Leader insurance and group management. With this in mind please note the cancellation policy and please give as much notice as you can if you need to cancel so that your slot can be opened up to someone else. Equally if the walk is ‘out of stock’, but you’d like to attend, please get in touch as we may be able to fit you in.

LATE CANCELLATION POLICY: Sherwood Nordic Walking has a late cancellation policy whereby we require 24 hours’ notice for cancelling a walk booking. No refunds can be issued however it may be possible to use the credit one time on a future session. This will be dependent on the cancelling client making contact with Tracy or Elaine. Refunds will only be issued if the session has been cancelled by the Instructor or Walk Leader.
