Monday Adventure along the Chesterfield Canal

We haven’t done this one in a long while!

We will meet at the Lock keeper Inn carpark off the A57 roundabout in Worksop (Sainsbury’s/McDonald’s roundabout). We will follow the Chesterfield canal through Shireoaks all the way to Turners Wood.

After crossing the railway we will follow the fields that take us back to the canal before heading back to our starting point.

The Lock keeper Inn should be open on our return for refreshments.

Distance: 4 – 6 miles (depending on whether we go up to the pit top, to Turner’s Wood, or both)

LATE CANCELLATION POLICY: Sherwood Nordic Walking has a late cancellation policy whereby we require 24 hours’ notice for cancelling a walk. A credit voucher may be issued up until this time but will be dependent on the cancelling client making contact with Tricia or Tracy before cancelling.
