Monday Adventure Clayworth and the Canal

A glorious walk along the Chesterfield canal from Clayworth!

We will start our adventure at The Worksop and Retford Boat Club. From here we will walk along the canal path to Hayton. Our journey takes us up a small hill and along the edge of some fields before looping back to the canal path.

This is challenging walk as we have some hills to get up.

We need to be extra vigilant where the path becomes narrow as the edges have softened – we don’t want anyone falling into the canal!

Unfortunately The Blacksmiths Arms is currently closed and up for sale, so if anyone wants a drink, snack and catch up afterwards we can head to Everton either to Bean Scene or The Yurt.

LATE CANCELLATION POLICY: Sherwood Nordic Walking has a late cancellation policy whereby a cancellation fee will be retained for any walks cancelled within 12 hours of the start of the walk (approximately 60p). A full refund will be issued up until this time but will be dependent on the cancelling client making contact with Tracy before cancelling.
