Monday Adventure to Roche Abbey

A magical and beautiful walk in all seasons, our Monday Adventure begins in Laughton-en-le-Morthen and takes us to the ruins of Roche Abbey, a 12th century monastery.

This Adventure requires a bit more stamina than our usual Adventures, but the reward is a beautiful route taking in rolling hills, ancient woodland and the magical ruins of Roche Abbey.

This route is renowned for muddy sections and one steep climb.

For refreshments we can hop back in our cars and head over to Monksbridge Farm or head home.

Distance: 4-5 miles

Ascent: 512 feet

LATE CANCELLATION POLICY: Sherwood Nordic Walking has a late cancellation policy whereby we require 24 hours’ notice for cancelling a walk. A credit voucher may be issued up until this time but will be dependent on the cancelling client making contact with Tracy before cancelling.
