Special Birthday Adventure – Chesterfield Canal

It is Elaine’s birthday today!

We will meet at the Lock keeper Inn carpark off the A57 roundabout in Worksop (Sainsbury’s/McDonald’s roundabout). We will follow the Chesterfield canal through Shireoaks towards the old pit tip.

Depending on how everyone feels we can either go around the base of the pit tip or take a gentle gradient route to the top.

Distance: 4.5 miles – 6 miles (if the pit top is added)

Ascent: 273ft max (if we go to the top of the pit tip)

LATE CANCELLATION POLICY: Sherwood Nordic Walking has a late cancellation policy whereby we require 24 hours’ notice for cancelling a walk booking. No refunds can be issued however it may be possible to use the credit one time on a future session. This will be dependent on the cancelling client making contact with Tracy. Refunds will only be issued if the session has been cancelled by the Instructor or Walk Leader.
