Following on from the Beginner’s Training Session Part 1 we begin with a recap of steps 1-5. We will move onto the hill technique and foot dynamics before progressing onto steps 6-10 where we add speed and intensity into the technique. Using specific drills to emphasise the correct movements and posture, we will ensure we are getting a workout from our walk. We end the session with a nordic walk, practising the technique that we have built over the two sessions.
You can only book Part 2 if you have completed the Beginner’s Nordic Walking Training Session Part 1, or already have experience of nordic walking.
At the end of this session you will be ready to book onto our regular Adventure, Gentle Adventure or Wellbeing walks depending on which one would suit you best.
If you want to practise what you have learnt before joining a regular walk, then book onto one of our Technique Walks where we will continue perfecting technique and gaining confidence in our new skills!
It is preferable that you purchase your own poles in advance, but if not, poles are available to use free of charge.

LATE CANCELLATION POLICY: Sherwood Nordic Walking has a late cancellation policy whereby we require 24 hours’ notice for cancelling a walk. A credit voucher will be issued up until this time but will be dependent on the cancelling client making contact with Tracy before cancelling.
