Beginner’s Training at Thoresby Park – one session

Would you like to learn how to nordic walk? This fast-track course will teach you all you need to know to enjoy the International Nordic Walking (INWA) technique.

An introduction to the nordic walking poles and their features before moving on to learn the few basic steps of the INWA 10-step technique. We will cover posture, pole position, arm swing and forward propulsion.

Poles are available to use free of charge. There are also some poles available to purchase after the course.

You will need to complete a PAR-Q health questionnaire prior to taking part. I will send this to you a few days before the course – please check your junk email boxes.

LATE CANCELLATION POLICY: Sherwood Nordic Walking has a late cancellation policy whereby we require 24 hours’ notice for cancelling a walk. A transfer to another course may be issued up until this time but will be dependent on the cancelling client making contact with Tracy.
