Would you like to learn how to nordic walk? This 2-part Saturday course will teach you all you need to know to enjoy the International Nordic Walking (INWA) technique.
Session 1 introduces you to the nordic walking poles and their features before moving on to learn the first five steps of the INWA 10-step technique. We will cover posture, pole position, arm swing and forward propulsion.
Session 2 will take place on Saturday 19th November either at 10.30am or ideally 1pm if possible. You do not need to book these sessions separately. The payment for Session 1 is for both sessions.
Following on from the course you are welcome to book onto the monthly Saturday group walk, or join us at the weekly parkrun at Clumber Park where we nordic walk the route.
Poles are available to use free of charge.
You will need to complete a PAR-Q health questionnaire prior to taking part. I will send this to you a few days before the course – please check your junk email boxes.
LATE CANCELLATION POLICY: Due to limited numbers on this course Sherwood Nordic Walking has a late cancellation policy whereby we require 48 hours’ notice for cancelling a course. A credit voucher or a refund minus 50p booking fee may be issued up until this time but will be dependent on the cancelling client making contact with Tracy.
